Amsterdam, February 12, 2025 – Arena Aviation Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent van Tooren as its new Head of Portfolio Management. Van Tooren, formerly the Head of Portfolio Management and Pricing at AerCap, brings extensive industry expertise and a strong track record of success in aviation asset management.
With over 25 years of experience in aircraft leasing and portfolio strategy, van Tooren has played a pivotal role in optimizing asset value and driving asset allocation strategy in aircraft leasing. During the last 17 years, as Head of Portfolio Management and Pricing at AerCap, he was involved in thousands of aircraft purchase, lease and sale transactions, including the acquisitions of ILFC and GECAS, that created the largest aircraft, engine and helicopter lessor in the world.
“We are thrilled to welcome Vincent to our leadership team,” said Patrick den Elzen, CEO of Arena Aviation Capital. “His wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our portfolio management capabilities and drive value for our investors and partners.”
In his new role at Arena Aviation Capital, van Tooren will oversee the company’s global portfolio of aircraft assets, implementing strategies to enhance asset performance, maximize returns, and support the company’s long-term growth objectives.
“I am excited to join Arena Aviation Capital and look forward to working with the talented team at Arena to further develop the company’s portfolio strategy and contribute to its continued success in the aviation leasing market,” said Vincent van Tooren.
